Their unique sealing design is field-proven to provide longer seat life than comparable metal seated lug designs.

Specific advantages of the resilient seated lug style butterfly valve include the ability to perform maintenance on a valve without removal from a line, suitable for dead-end service, and typically preferred in larger sizes and higher-pressure applications.
